Welcome to the Diamond Terrace Website.  We hope you enjoy learning about us, our wine and our vineyards.

In 1998 we realized our dream of owning a high quality vineyard by purchasing a 16-acre parcel on Diamond Mountain near the town of Calistoga.  We moved our family of six onto the property and determined that Diamond Terrace was the perfect name for our new home.

The steeply terraced 5-acre vineyard was planted in 1988 to Cabernet Sauvignon.  More vines were added in 1992 to the insides of the terraces.  We knew right off the bat this vineyard could produce a big, elegant, and age worthy mountain cabernet.  So, in 1999 we began producing a limited quantity of Cabernet Sauvignon from the unique Diamond Mountain District.

In 2005 we added another wine to our portfolio, a Cabernet, from our family’s 7 acre “Eagle Summit” vineyard on Howell Mountain.  Under the watchful eye of winemaker Thomas Brown we are committed to crafting mountain cabernets of the highest quality that truly reflect the distinctiveness  of their appellation.
